Can I list my business free on the BizyBiz directory?
Yes it is free to list your business on the directory. There is also a premium upgrade which offers many advantages including priority search results positioning before free listings.

My business is conducted only via the internet, is a map location required?
No, If you run your business from your home or somewhere else and do not transact any business from that address, then there is no need to direct anyone to it. To have an intergrated map with your listing or not is your own choice.

Can I alter the details of my advertised products and/or services?
Description details of your business listings can be modified at any time. An uploaded Logo or image can be, replaced as long as the integrity of BizyBiz Promotions is not jeopardised or our terms and conditions are not infringed in any way.

Can I refer to BizyBiz within my own publicity promotions?

How do I get a password?
From the home page, Click on Account then select Register. You will be asked to enter your details and a password of your choice.. You will then receive an emailed link. You are requested to click this link to authenticate your email address. Once this has been completed you are welcome to login and enter your listing for immediate publication.

What should I do if I forget my Password?
If you forget your password, Follow the instructions on the login page and your password will be emailed to your registered email address.

Can I change my password?
Yes just login using your current password, go to User details from the Control Panel available under Accounts menu from the home page and alter it through there.

Do BizyBiz publish local as well as national Listings?
Yes, BizyBiz adverts can be directed to either local or national.

Do you use my personal details for any other purpose than to contact me with information?
No. when you register your membership, we store your details on our database. We may contact you in future with information relating to information or offers related to Bizy Promotions Ltd but your personal information remains on our database only. We will not sell it or allow any third party access to it. (See our Privacy Policy)

I can't find any business services under a particular category?
There may not have been any services indexed for that category yet, but there may be similar services under related categories. Please re-check through related business types or keyword searches.

How do I get my business listed in the directory?
BizyBiz Directory is almost completely self service. To list your business in the directory, first register for free membership, if already registered, login and create your advertisement following the simple stages. your listing can be saved unfinished until a later time & date if need be or it can be published on BizyBiz immediately You just need click the Publish button, You can edit as often as you like.

I run a repeating Event or Sales. Can I update?
You have full editing/updating options, which means that at any time and as often as you wish, you can adjust or completely alter your text to suit your purpose. Our only concern is that you do not upload any inappropriate material which might contravene our terms & conditions. Please remember this website is considered family rated

Do you vet listings before they are published?
The BizyBiz Directory have a fully functional self service text editing facility and we put our trust in its proper use by our members. We do not expect any of our members who publish their services on our website, to abuse that trust. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will not get the occasional visit by the odd mindless Nut, who's sad mission in life is to cause distress or discomfort to others. However, we will treat abuse of our trust very seriously and in that event, will take legal action against the perpetrator. To complete the answer to the question. Yes, we do vet listings, but only after publication.

Why do I need to enter only single key words into the Keyword section?
The primary reason to fully describe your product/service is to convince potential customers or clients that you can offer them what they want. But your description also lets the search engines know what your business is about too.
The search enginess will recognise and pick up keywords within the text copy of your advertisement. so it is doubly important that you describe your goods or services as fully as possible.
However, the keywords you record in the keyword section of your listing are specifically used to enable quick and efficient search results to visitors of the directory only. choose keywords contained in your description which you believe visitors may use in the site search (internal search engine) to find your type of product or service.
This is why we advise members to use individual keywords, ie, car, van, bike, hire, as opposed to car hire, van hire, bike hire etc. keyword phrases might not be recognised in the site search and could bring up a 'Not Found' response.
Please Note: do not use commers to separate keywords, only a space

A red banner appears when I attempt to save my Businesss Description or Keywords?
If a red error banner appears when you click to save your business description or keywords, it warns of an error and will state what that error is i.e. you may have entered less than the minimum number of characters, or you have entered 'illegal characters' these are characters which aren't programmed into the site and are therefore not accepted in the keyword section.
Only the following characters are permitted in that section;
letters A to Z (upper and lower case characters are accepted),
numbers 0 - 9,
this field can also contain spaces,
Note: Separate each keyword with a space only, don't use commers
