When listing your business, please take as much space as you need to fully describe your business and its service, this will help to draw interest. Listing your URL on a directory which has page rank will give you a back link.

Search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Bing, are influenced by lots of helpfull information about your business, i.e. what it is, what it does and most importantly, how it can best assist the searcher (your potential Customer/Client), so your description of all that should be made very clear and precise.

You should not try too hard to include keywords and phrases as they should appear naturally within the text. (Stuffing in keywords for the sake of it will be seen in a bad light and can put your website in the Google sandbox.) Write as much copy as possible and concentrate on making it is as helpful as possible to the searcher, that on its own is good for your business, The search engines are programmed to recognise good descriptive information, that, after all, is the whole point of why you want your business to be seen isn't it?

The Keyword Section

The Keyword section has no effect on web search engines, those search engines do not see the keyword section on this directory, but they will find the keywords within your Business Description copy. The greater the description information detail, the more favourably they will view it

The Keyword section on this site used to help the BizyBiz directory's own internal search engine to throw up relevent results in response to single word or business name searches made by visitors.  That section requires single, unrepeated(see below) keywords, not text information.

Please enter each keyword only once and separate with a single space. Do not use keyword phrases. i.e.(Car Hire is 2 keywords, adding hire again after van would be superfluous) The Keywords section of the listing is primarily targeted to help visitors find businesses registered here and they will find better results from single keywords, i.e. A Business name, or a businesss type

Logo/Image

Listings accompanied with a logo or an image are searched more often than those without. but please note the size and format before uploading.

To reinstate your listing:

Simply login to your account, edit your listing so it complies with the site guidelines, save and it will republish your business listing.
