We started collecting vintage & antique pocket watches & chains about thirty years ago. The fine workmanship of the motionworks and cases led us to professional watch & clock repair where silversmithing skills were also required.

Our collection started to include many Victorian, Art Nouveau & Art Deco items & it was dissapointing to see unskilled & unprofessional repairs (mostly with lead solder) on high quality jewellery such as lavalieres & brooches. Professional repairs should blend into the item & be invisible, we only attempt to repair a piece when that is achieveble. We intend to add instructional jewellery repair pages to the site in the future so that others may try out some silversmithing techniques.

We have been trading for many years but only recently via the internet. This shop is constantly under development & will improve with time. We have many more pieces to add & if you are interested in any, we are open to reasonable offers. Small items have free worldwide shipping.
